ANSWER: No. The scholarship program is open to individuals who are interested in continuing to perform in challenging and exciting ensembles.
ANSWER: The requirements are different for each area (vocal or instrumental). Specific requirements for each area are determined by your instructor.
QUESTION: What are the eligibility requirements for a scholarship?
ANSWER: Yes. Although the number may be limited. The Music Department has talent based scholarships available each semester. Kaskaskia College also has specific services on campus to assist students in getting grants, scholarships, and student loans. Please contact the appropriate instructor for more information.
The Kaskaskia College Music Department awards a number of
performance based scholarships annually. These scholarships are awarded to deserving students who will utilize their talents to enhance our program. Institutional scholarship students are asked to perform in our ensembles and act as ambassadors of the Music Department both on campus and throughout the community.
